**Buyer Beware** Joe Castro is a basic contractor who does odd jobs…not a buttoned up high end pool company. He’s unprofessional and extremely unreliable, especially with customers who have already paid him in full. Once he receives money for your job, he will move his attention to his next sale. He re-modeled my pool and left for an entire month when the pool / plaster needed the most attention. I have numerous examples of him not doing what he said he would do and leaving me hanging with zero assistance. Joe will just disappear and or lie to you when you ask him questions. He and his phone alone is his company…nobody else to turn to if you have issues. I spent thousands of dollars for my re-model and fully regret using his company. I have had 2 pools built by Castro pools and 1 replaster. Joe Castro has always done a professional job with very competitive prices. Both pool builds and plaster job were completed on and usually before the timeline schedule. Joe has attended required schools on plaster and pool care and shared the information with us. recommend!

He STOLE from us!! DO NOT USE HIM!! Paid for a remodel but he never completed the job, 68000!. Never installed the pool equipment pool and spa . He said he didn’t have any money to buy these. That he had to wait on his next customer so he would have some money to purchase our pool equipment that we already paid for. Stopped answering the phone. We have spoken with others and are going to have a CLASS ACTOON LAWSUIT AGAINST HIM!! He is a CROOK! Can’t post any negative review about him on FB because he will just delete it. Took bids for a pool remodel,plaster tile and coping ,had a friend recommend Castro pools he had a good experience,I wish I could say the same ,they matched my lowest bid For a complete remodel in April of 2018 . The job ended up taking over a month to complete and should of been done in a week, Castro turned on my pool to drain and left , my wife came home and turned off the pump ,running dry this was the start of a bunch of mistakes and excuses,my pool was left without water for over three weeks and water started leaking through the plaster around my lights ,the plaster crew rushed spraying and troweling the plaster ,tile on steps were crooked and plaster was uneven and had splotches ,not enough coping was ordered and had to use coping that was not the same ,to finish ,the tile was cut

Castro and his team were fantastic to work with. They installed all new equipment for my existing pool as well as laid and sealed new coping stones. The pool looks and performs the best it ever has! Thank-you, Castro, for your excellent customer service, and for making my pool a place my family can really enjoy!
