Cavan Construction

My father Richard Lex used to be Vice President of Commonwealth construction and gave more jobs than I can count to Cavan from 1990-1998 when he retired. I am in the diamond blade industry especially those designed to go on the Soff-Cut machine. The niche Soff-Cutt has is the blade spins counter clockwise like a circular saw and kicks the dust out of the hole contrary to other saws in the industry that spin clockwise and cause heat and spawning of your cut. So I happened to see a neighbor of mine worked for Cavan so I gave him 2 of my blades for free to test against his blade to see which blade worked better hoping to gain their business. A hazard to the public! They were in their company truck driving under the speed limit on the highway. I had cruise control on, and as I passed them, they floored it to stay next to us. They were swerving and driving erratically, and being close to midnight, logical assumption is they were drunk. They finally slowed a bit and as we pulled past them, they put their high beams on to blind us! I fell back to avoid that, and this started a cycle of us both slowing down and speeding up- us to try to get away from them, them to pace us. Swerving like they were, I felt unsafe near them, but they left us no escape. If their hazardous, aggressive drunk driving is an indicator of their character, I would NEVER hire this company, and I would discourage anyone else from helping to support this childis

Their box truck on rt 1 today was driving like an idiot and in the left lane far too often. This company has the worst drivers of any company I see out there.

I deal with them for work and most of their employees are rude, ignorant and arrogant. One guy, im assuming he is a supervisor, is the worst out of them all. I delivered to them one time and did excatly as he told me to do and ended up getting my truck stuck. Well he commenced to yell, scream and cuss me up and down, as if it was my fault I got stuck. And that's not the first time me or other of my co workers have gotten treated like that while we were on their jobs. Very poor professionalism and workmanship.

I was stopped at a light behind one of their trucks and it backed up into my car. The driver was immediately rude when he got out of the work vehicle. He claimed he was a mechanic and kept insisting there was no damage. I said that we still need to exchange information because he did hit my car and I'm not a mechanic so I need someone else I trust to tell me my car is ok. After he realized I wasn't going anywhere and not taking no for an answer, he reluctantly gave me his info. A few hours later I come home from work to find a police officer at my door saying that a Cavan Construction worker claimed that I hit him and fleeted the scene, which was an obvious lie considering I showed the police officer the pictures of him and his information that I took on my phone and the video footage of u
