I don't think they screen their drivers! Almost killed me coming out of their plant with a full load of block on 547 in Davenport! You can see the minimal reviews! That will show you how this company is run! Very sad! Be aware of this company and go elsewhere!
I don't think Cemex is a bad company, but the staff isn't competent for their positions, as there are so many safety issues, among others! I'm referring to the Davenport plant at 100 Lem Carnes Rd., Davenport.
Concrete from Cemex plant in Davenport using Kennedy's truck unsuitable for use. Of three yards poured 1/2 yard solid water. 3 1/2 inch slump was ordered. This load was almost no slump. Kennedy refused to make this right without an additional charge of $270 for a replacement yard. DO NOT USE CEMEX.
