4 years after they installed a cap on and “repointed” our granite stone chimney, the condition of the chimney is so poor that rocks have fallen out and we are having to have it rebuilt. At no time did they indicate how seriously deteriorated the mortar was for the chimney, despite spending a few days in an expensive lift that they insisted we rent. We are fortunate that we didn’t have a complete collapse, which surely would have come through the roof of our family room directly into the sitting area. I tried to call them over a week now no answer no response. The job they did. It’s falling down. I will not recommend this company. They did awful job

No flashing done on new chimney blocks above roofline. Sealed with sealant that manufacturer describes as temporary fix and no substitute for flashing.
