We recently had Central Mass Hardwood refinish the hardwood floors throughout the first floor of our new house, including detailed cabinet areas and stairs, and we’re very happy with the results. The crew was extremely detail-oriented with the sanding, including a lot of careful manual sanding around the perimeter, on stairs, and other tricky spots like around spindles. They also did a great job with cleanup and protected the kitchen cabinets with plastic sheeting to keep dust contained. We knew we wanted a darker finish, but we weren’t sure which shade. They were very patient and applied multiple stain samples, then gave us the weekend to see how the colors changed in different lighting, which really helped us make the right choice. Refinishing floors in a 1935 house is never an easy feat, especially with people and dogs in residence. Peter's crew did an awesome job, and worked with us so we could stay in the house while it was going on! Highly recommend!

Recommended by a neighbor, and now I'm also recommending Central Mass Hardwood to anyone who asks! Pete and team are extremely professional. He gave a very reasonable quote/estimate, and worked back and forth with my wife and I to understand the whole process. In our kitchen, we had tile on top of linoleum that had to all be ripped out. It was a lot of work. Our new kitchen floor looks amazing! They matched the 3 adjoining rooms that all had their own hardwood stain and finish. There's a reason they have a perfect 5 star rating! Usually I'd be skeptical, but not for CMH!

Central Mass Hardwood was great to work with. They did an amazing job removing our prior flooring, installing new hardwood, and finishing the flooring and stairs.
