It's a parking lot. It's a long trudge from parts of it to University Hospital, especially in inclement weather. Depending on what time of day you arrive, it can be difficult to find a parking spot. Employees are required to purchase parking passes, at $18/month a pop. There are three covered multilevel garages closer to the hospital that many employees are not allowed to use, even though there is plenty of space. During football season, parking pass holders are not allowed to park in the place they pay to park the night before the game and on game day because the parking lot is then reserved for tailgating. Yes, there are other places to park, but towing & ticketing are enforced for paid pass holders in favor of sports fans. The asphalt seems to be of solid quality. That gets a star.

it's a parking lot (currently) and you better have the right permissions to park here. you will get ticketed first if you are not supposed to park here and caught 3 times or more and they will tow you. Fun thing is if your plates are not in the system you will not get warnings to your tickets. The lot is in need of resurfacing, and there is construction work starting, but I think they are putting in a new building...

Parking is far away from the hospital entrance. Parking lot is not in the best shape.
