Charles and Doug did a great job for us, building 2 custom doors for a pantry built in 1968. They promised the work would be complete before Christmas, and the doors were installed on December 19. Shaker doors, custom made, painted and installed for a reasonable, fair price. Older houses are more difficult to fit custom doors, and we are very satisfied. I would definitely recommend Charles White Woodworking to others, and will use them again.

FRAUD ALERT As mentioned by previous reviewers as well, Charles and his partner are borderline fraudulent. At the beginning we discussed a specific timeline (8-10 weeks out to provide ample time to complete the job). We were even flexible by an additional 3 weeks to help accommodate his vacation time (as we understand everyone needs time off). However, he consistently keep pushing back timelines north of 4-6 weeks. The first day that he arrived, his partner was extremely rude and constantly keep complaining how he did not want to complete certain work with cabinets (things we paid for). Mid way through the project, Charles asked for a further payment to help his needs. I confirmed with him that he would finish the project on time. Charles and his employee Doug did a fantastic job building a section in our closet that The Closet Factory did not complete. Charles White Woodworking's price was fair, and the quality of their design and finished product was superb.

Update: Still never got my money. I saw he did the same thing to a lady on Angie's List. He took $5000 from her. This man is a volunteer firefighter and goes to church but feels like it's ok to steal from people. I made a $1200 deposit to have my work done to my cabinets. The first time I called him, he was responsive. He came out to give me a quote the next day. He promised to do the work some time after the holidays. Nothing was ever done. Now he won't even answer the phone to give me a refund. The next step is court. This is the first negative review I have ever made.

Charles does fantastic work. He helped me quickly and was so pleasant to deal with. Good, honest work too. I highly recommend him. Thank you again!!
