Charlie Swain Plumbing, Inc.

For years, we’ve used Charlie Swain. So I called as always and I was given two options either do it ourselves or spend $1100 and have them do it. Oh my God are they kidding me so I had another company come out immediately and fixed it for a fraction of the cost. Charlie Swain, you should take your name off the business because the new owner is not doing your name any justice at all! If I could’ve done less than one star I would have!!!

I contacted this company for an estimate to run a new gas line for my kitchen. The technician came out promptly, took measurements, and discussed the job details, mentioning that someone from the office would get back to me with an estimate. After a week with no response, I called the office and spoke with a woman who was careless and unresponsive. She assured me I would receive the estimate within 2-3 weeks. Despite understanding they might be busy, a month passed with no communication. When I called again, the office was surprised they hadn’t gotten back to me and transferred me to someone else. He was unapologetic about the delay, blaming it on an issue between the field technician and the office, and promised the pricing by the next morning. Days passed with no response, and my calls

My drain line between my kitchen and the primary "cleanout" became clogged backing up water into my kitchen sink. I contacted Charlie Swain Plumbing this morning, and after juggling their schedule, they were able to schedule me for same day service. The technician arrived on time, was professional and personable, and fixed the issue. His work product was very clean!!! First time using Charlie Swain Plumbing, and I will certainly use them again!!!

This is a poorly run company that puts customer service in last place. I used them twice (to install a tankless hot water heater and subsequently clean it) and they were fine but nothing special. On my third appt., they tried to say that the same service I had prior had gone up from $150 (from my last appt) to $250 today. The materials to clean this product include vinegar and reusable hoses, a reusable pump and a reusable 5 gallon bucket. Squeezing the customer during Covid is disgusting. Not cool Chuckie!!!

I used them for the first time today and was very pleased with the proficency, quick and clean work of their plumber, Leo. He removed and installed a new kitchen faucet. He was very professional, prices were fair and he was pleasant to work with. It was so pleasant to have someone that can be relied on to do the job right the first time. I will use these fellows for all my future work.
