Charlie's Lawn & Landscaping

This company stalled for months while I already had a quote from them to for $5000 to fix hurricane helene damage to my yard. Months later, they decided they wanted $12,000-$13,000 instead. If they will try to take advantage of hurricane helene victims, they will most definitely try to scam you too. Stay far away from these scammers.

Charlie, Randy and their crew did a sensational job cleaning and mulching for us this week. They came to give us a quote almost immediately after we called and communicated with us through rain delays. Before starting, they brought us several mulch samples to choose from before they ordered. We live on a sloped property that is difficult to navigate. They cleaned out all our beds from weeds and winter accumulated leaves, cut back English ivy, defined our beds and spread 10 yards of mulch in record time. They blew off every bit of debris and left our yard looking better than it ever has. Highly recommended!

I do not recommend Charlie's Lawn & Landscaping. While he completed most of the work in a timely fashion, he never returned to finish the job. He was supposed to come back after a week to roll the sod he installed, but he never came back and he did not return my phone calls. At first glance I was pleased with the laying of the sod, but after closer inspection, I found that he had placed the sod on top of rocks and up on the rock border. I had to go around my yard and cut the sod off of the border. Also, he will certainly try to over charge you.

Work was not done correctly. Damaged other property. Scheduled return visits six times without showing up or calling. Had to get a lawyer to get work corrected, but I'm still unsure if it was done correctly. Overcharged and then charged again to correct the shoddy work. Horrible.

Charles and Randy are both crooks. See the review from 5 years ago, should have been a big enough warning. They will take your money and do half ass work. Charge you more money and still dont do the work. Do yourself a favor RUN dont go anywhere near these guys.
