Charlotte Lumber hooked us up with the most gorgeous custom floors for our new house. We wanted extra-long planks, and they totally delivered—literally the longest we’ve ever seen. But heads up: these boards are no joke heavy. Like, "Why didn’t we recruit more muscle?" heavy. We seriously underestimated the struggle of moving them and had to call in reinforcements. The freight delivery was a whole new experience for us. Turns out, if you’re getting a residential delivery, you better double-check that the truck can actually reach your house. Otherwise, the driver might just park on the side of the road and expect you to have a trailer ready for unloading. We knew this going in, but didn’t realize just how heavy those planks would be. We worked with Joey from Charlotte Lumber on our new lake house build. He helped us navigate some difficult design decisions and avoid some costly mistakes we weren’t aware of. We ended up having Charlotte Lumber do our ceiling beams, porch ceiling, deck privacy wall and french oak flooring. We’ve had everything installed for about 8 months and we get SO many compliments. Highly recommended!

Charlotte Lumber did a fantastic job with my kitchens island! I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. The staff there was also very friendly and took the time to make sure they got everything right and was just what I was asking for! I will definitely be coming back here for other projects that need to be done in my home!

They have a beautiful selection of flooring and ceiling beams. They even travel to do out of state installs. Highly recommend.
