Patrick is knowledgeable, thorough and neat. He took our whole stove apart cleaning everything. Then cleaned the 25 foot chimney. We would never call anyone but Chimguard 6 stars!

What a great experience with these guys! Super friendly phone call to set up the appointment. My service tech was Stephen, and he was great. Friendly, informative and thorough! I have never seen a chimney cleaning like this. He was all over our woodstove. The thing looks great, and he left not a speck of dirt anywhere. He also conducted a detailed inspection with flashlights, mirrors and all. Then he filled me in on everything he saw and gave me simple ways to continue to maintain my woodstove. Their price was a little cheaper then others I called in the area(as I usually thing chimney sweeping can be a bit pricey), but the 2 hours he took to completely go through my whole set up made it well worth it. Chim-Guard re-lined my old 1890 brick chimney two years ago and did a chimney cap, etc. Since then, Chim Guard has serviced my chimney for regular cleanings and other chimney (furnace exhausts) on my home. I must say, Patrick and his crew are exceptionally professional and on point. I searched around for other chimney services when I purchased my home and they were ridiculously overpriced and rude. I am very happy I found Chima-Guard. I am not paid or involved with Patrick or his company. I just hold his company in high regard. You will not be displeased and I believe he is the best service provider for chimney maintenance/repair/restoration in Delaware.

We always call Patrick for our chimney needs. We got to know him during the home inspection process and we haven’t turned to anyone else. He is very busy certain times of year but he’s worth the wait. He’s saved us a ton of money by being direct and honest.

I heard a bird in my fireplace chimney for 24 hours and Patrick came right out, same day, to assist with this situation and then installed a much needed chimney cap the same week. We were very pleased with the pictures he provided of the masonry work that is badly needed and the referral for someone who will be providing an estimate. Excellent service all the way around!
