Chimo and sons did a large fence for us it was two different types of fencing and a railing on the porch. They did a fantastic job I highly recommend these guys for anything they where efficient, the fence looks great, did every little detail we asked, communicated with what would look best and achieved our fence dreams. Can not say enough good things about these guys!

When our roof began to leak, we knew we needed someone who was established, skilled and trustworthy. We found Chimo and Sons Construction on Angie. During the initial construction of our home, many things could have been done better, such as, gutters being improperly placed, the chimney and surroundings not being prepared to prevent leakage, and the type of material used needed to be correctly installed. Contacting Chimo and Sons Construction was the most time-saving, sanity-saving, and, yes, money-saving decision. Eddie came out, listened to our concerns, evaluated our roof, and took many pictures to show us the location and extent of the damage. I went back and forth with many siding contractors before selecting Chimo and Sons. Ultimately I selected them because they gave the most competitive price. It was a large amount of money so I wanted to select a solid contractor. I'll highlight the pros and cons: Pros: - fair price (to install james hardie siding) -3d rendering of my house (with the new siding overlaid) that allowed me to easily visualize the new appearance/colors -they started the job and finished it with the time frames they gave me (was a decent sized project) -For the most part the workmanship with the siding is good Cons: -they put a hole in my A/C line with a nail so i was without A/C in the middle of July....then the HVAC guy they hired to replace my line, fell through my ceiling...you cant make this stuff up! -

Eddie and his team were excellent. He responded to the inquiry I sent through Thumbtack immediately, and he promptly came out to assess the kitchen remodel. We live in CA and wanted to update our rental home in NC after our tenants unexpectedly moved out early, so we needed to do this job remotely! And quickly so we can get the home back on the market. Not ideal, but Eddie meticulously sent marked-up photos to clarify exactly what we wanted. He gave us an estimate that was very reasonable based on other estimates. During the process, he found a beautiful quartz countertop for us that was better than anything I had found on my own. He did the whole job in less than a week! Hired Hery (Eddie) to do an entire rehab on the house. Roof and siding was done well. The interior, average at best. Lots of shortcuts and used, in some cases damaged products used. Trim work was average at best. Tiling was done very poorly. No experience with plumbing at all!! Does not stand by his work and will not answer phone/text/e-mail when asked for corrections. I left numerous messages, etc. and never heard back. Had to hire another pro to fix Chimo and Son's work. I would only recommend for roofing and/or siding.
