Church Street Parking Garage

Waaaaaay overpriced. Soon as Durham went to street meters to force you to use the decks the decks went up. You park more than one minute over the hour mark? you pay for another hour. Lose your ticket? you pay for more than a full day even if you leave at 9 AM. The staff is nice though. I can't take that away from them. They smile while they take your money though. They say they are just being competitive with Charlotte. DURHAM IS NOT CHARLOTTE!! THERE IS NO COMPARISON

One of the older parking garages in Durham so it has low ceilings, tight turns and the entrances and exits are hard to get into and out of. Very good location to DPAC though so would not ignore this as a viable parking location. Also close to Bar Virgile and the eastern side of the downtown area.

Parked there. It worked. One time, though, the machine didn't shoot out a receipt, so I couldn't get reimbursed. I was sad. Otherwise: 5 stars!
