Called them out after a maintenance 1.5 years prior, the error on my generator was 1300 low oil pressure. Came and did a $250 “maintenance” on it when I wasn’t home, said it was working great when they left. Error code remained, neither visit updated any sticker on my generac so it says it hasn’t been serviced since 2017…lol. Called back and said error code still present, not running at all now. Was told that if it’s a new problem I will be charged again. NO NOTES regarding my visits, and same error code seems like it’s probably the same problem. Don’t have $500 to spend on repeated visits, terrible service, follow up, and broken website. Find any other company to utilize

Called for lighting problem in one of my rooms. The technician came the very next day. He found out the problem and fixed it the same day. Technician was polite and friendly. I will call them again for any future electrical needs.

I purchased a foreclosure where the previous owner had intentionally cut and damaged the wiring in several places. I called City Electric, and they fixed everything and updated my wiring, so I could get an electric oven instead of gas. The guy who worked on my property was friendly and punctual, but it took longer and cost about 30% more than the initial estimate, so I can't give 5 stars. It was something of an ambiguous set of multiple issues though, so I understand how it could be difficult to estimate cost.

I called City Electric and asked if I could get a rough quote for some electrical work. I was told that they could give me a quote- but they charged $95/hour, and I could go ahead and book if I wanted to. My exact response was, “$95/hour sounds good, let’s go ahead and do it!”. What they failed to mention, and what we didn’t know until we received the bill, was that they charge $95/hr PER electrician. This was never once disclosed to us. Secondly, while we did have two electricians do work, one of the electricians was clearly learning on the job, yet we were charged just as much as the master electrician. I am totally fine having someone with less experience working on my house and being talked through some points, but I don’t feel it’s fair to charge as much for that person as the actual
