Classic Ace Hardware of Duncan Moore

Went to get a propane tank refilled. They had a delivery truck back up to be unloaded and was refusing to refill not just me but other customers as well until the truck is unloaded. Pretty crappy service and mismanagement of employees if you ask me. Have more staff there at all times because the customer is what keeps the lights on. This is also on the eve of the snow coming tomorrow. Totally wasted a trip and gas to be only told to come back later. Smh !!

Ace Hardware is great and Duncan Ace Hardware is exceptional. Recently, their associate, Jason, helped me to avoid having to find and hire a handyman to hang a heavy mirror (that was literally pulling a large plastic anchor out of my drywall). He showed me a special kind of metal anchor that bends up behind the wall as you turn in the screw (rated to 100 lbs in drywall). It was exactly what I needed and worked perfectly. Thanks Jason and thanks Duncan Ace!

I absolutely LOVE shopping at our Ace Hardware store!! It’s always clean, stocked and you are warmly greeted every time you enter! I was so impressed when the cashiers told me exactly where the items I was looking for were located. They will happily load heavy purchases and with a thank you and a smile. I would much rather shop here than any of the larger stores! Thank you to all employees and managers so happy to have you just up the street from our home.

We've lived in Spartanburg for 2 1/2 years and have attempted to buy fasteners, compression fittings, flanged fittings etc from this location about 7 times and at NO time have they had what we needed....and we are not looking for submarine nuclear reactor parts....today I called ahead and asked for 2 7/16" X 2" NC grade 8 studs......after about 10 minutes on hold a different girl answered and said the other girl said they had plenty of those. So, I drove the 5 miles to the store....they didn't have them. I guess if you need paint or an overpriced green egg smoker they might be your store otherwise....maybe go elsewhere. If I could rate them with a negative star I would....sadly that is not an option..

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Store was very clean and well organized. I will definitely return to this location for items needed for my business and home.
