Steven and Mario are the owners, they answer their phones and show up to the job site. I'm not sure what happened in the review below, but we had a great experience. We had 3 levels of heart of pine flooring installed in our gut renovation (about 4400 sq feet). Any issues we encountered with the flooring install and finish were rectified personally by Steven and Mario. Their guys were AMAZING with leveling out my wonky advantech sub flooring install (by a previous contractor- not by classic). They were recommended by my contractor and we could not be happier with our floors in our home. We would (and have) hire them again for any flooring project in the New Orleans area.

A floor job for removal of subfloor, floors, as well as install of subfloor and pine wood floors was started by 2 Spanish speaking workers from Classic Hardwood Floors for 2 rooms in our home. The first day Steven, the supervisor did not come to the site till 11:30am. At the end of 1st day we reported that trash was left all over the jobsite, nails sticking out of wood, damage to joists, walls, and baseboards. Steven said that the 2 workers were "his best team." The next day, 3 different Spanish speaking workers installed the subfloor, which had terrible cuts that left gaps where you could see the ground through the cracks and/or 1/2" or > gaps between subfloor boards. I hired this company to repair an area of water damaged antique red heart pine flooring at my home in NOLA, they matched the hardwood exactly, they sanded two floors of the same wood and refinished the stair treads. They did an amazing job staining, sanding and finishing and installing moldings. Highly recommended; they did a beautiful, professional job!

I recently had the carpet replaced in my master bedroom and closets with Century 3/4" oak flooring. I was fortunate to locate the same product that I purchased several years ago. Classic Hardwood Floors, LLC was selected to do the installation. They were extremely professional in providing a detailed estimate, accommodated my schedule for the three day installation, prepped the entire area, removed and hauled away all old carpet, trash and debris from the job site. The installers were true craftsmen using the latest tools and techniques to complete the job on time. They kept the job site neat and clean by neatly stacking their tools in an appropriate place and sweeping clean all dust and debris at the end of each day's work. The only good thing about this company is the office adminstrator. Mario was scheduled to begin work on my parents home. With two sick parents, I scheduled a date, went to pick out wood floors to do some repairs. After riding all over the city with the same sick parents trying to locate wood, Mario indicated that everything was good to go. We explained that we could not find the exact wood as it was discontinued. We went to 5 stores and all sales people told us that it was not an exact match but an experienced person would have no problems doing the repairs . We contacted Mario's office several times and was scheduled to start. That date comes and goes there is silence.
