Coastal Cabinetry Design

Been wanting to write this review while I was still in the middle of my project but I decided to wait until Alex and his team finished up completely. You never know what can happen at the very end and I'm happy to stay that these guys did such a terrific job on my kitchen remodel. I used them 4 years ago on my bathroom remodel and decided to wait on my kitchen due to my budget. Finally ended up doing the kitchen which is no easy project but this company was with me every step of the way. I learned that remodeling your kitchen is very different from other areas of the house. There are a lot of little things to think about, Coastal Cabinetry did such a good job managing all those little things and it felt pretty seamless. I had the worst experience with this company. If you have any desire to hire them, please don't. On the day we signed contract they informed me it will be ready within five weeks. Owner travels to China for a month and the and left his inexperience son in charge. They didn't bother to go over appliances specifications and three of my appliances don't fit and can't be return. Alex the owner informed my that they broke the countertop (asked for pictures but never got them) and now they are out of stock for that specific type and I can not longer have the same countertop. The alternatives are terrible. All the cabinets are from China and after over three months of waiting several of the upper cabinets arrived damage. Do not use this company under no circumstance, they are con-artist. The short version for those who do not want to read all this. Bait and switch. Double charged me. Charged me for more square feet than I used. I was looking for counter tops at Home Depot and on my way home I saw Coastal Cabinetry. I decided to check them out. I went in and was greeted promptly by the owners son. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He showed me quartz counter tops in different price point categories. I picked and paid for the one I wanted which was in the top tier. I paid for 35 square feet and we agreed that if it was more, I would pay the difference and if it was less he would reimburse me. I found Alex and Coastal Cabinetry from a friend. I contacted him and he replied back to me same day. We discussed my needs and he listened and helped me decide the best choices for my needs. I Will definitely use him for all my future needs. Plus he gave me fair prices!!
