Coastline Defender

I needed some work (mostly mechanical) done on my Defender 110 (LS3), and was referred to Coastline Defenders by a friend. Talking to Karl was a breath of fresh air - I could tell he was passionate about these vehicles, and just as importantly, knew exactly what he was doing. Too often you run into shops that are interested in something but don't have the skills to back it up - this isn't the case with Coastline. I shipped them my 110 for a list, and they immediately started work on it. They addressed all of the issues I had identified and more, efficiently, expertly, and committed to fixing it the right way with the correct parts. I brought my classic 1995 Land Rover Defender 110 into Coastline Defender a few weeks ago for some much-needed restoration, maintenance and repairs. Despite the age and high mileage on my Defender, Karl and his mechanics at Coastline were able to get it looking and running like new again. They were clearly very knowledgeable about Defenders and knew exactly what needed to be done to improve the looks, performance and extend the life of my 110. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! I Fell in love with my 91 Land Rover Defender the moment I saw her. Karl was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the building and purchasing of my Defender. I have a 110 built to my speck from Coastline and I could not be happier. I was iffy at first on which builder to use for a bespoke car that's built on a different continent than I live. The owner Karl was on the phone with me at least once a week (upwards of every other day at one point) helping me understand where we were in the build process, budget, and also took the time to answer any dumb question I had. Karl was super understanding of my budget and help me obtain the level of vehicle I wanted (and more), but also not breaking the bank. This is a car I plan to keep FOREVER, and eventually hand down to my kids, so not only does it need to last, but I expect it to be in my family for a very long time. I was referred to Coastline Defender by a friend to get a PPI on a D90. They were very thorough and professional throughout; Explained the +/- of fixing what they found. Once I purchased the truck they did all the repairs plus some modification I wanted. They tested the truck until they worked out all the kinks (and in these trucks there can be a lot). Highly recommend Karl and team. I would go back to them for any future builds or mod jobs.
