After a home inspection recently, I was informed that my HVAC system under my house had a leak. I called Cochran, the original installer, and asked them to come out and confirm and provide me with an estimate. Whilst the crew was inspecting the issue (unaware that I could here them speaking), they said "wonder why someone drilled 2 holes in the 90 degree elbow?". Once they met me at the front door and I asked for their conclusion, I said your company is the only company that has been under my house since you guys installed the unit. I called the owner, Jamey, and explained the above to him. He was very rude, very defensive especially after I told him that the "elbow" coming off the draft inducer motor is still under warranty. This is a knowledgeable, timely, and competitively priced contractor. Jamie was the only one of eight bids to calculate the tonnage requirement for my space and measure the existing output. His punctual and professional team took less than eight hours to replace my entire system and revise much of the ductwork. The new system is wildly better and meets my requirements for noise and cooling. Cochran’s labor warranty requires that a maintenance contract exists with some (any) vendor. I’ve opted to stick with Cochran and extend this relationship.

Arrived on time which is importance. The service person was very helpful and knowledgeable of the job. Also spoke on recommendation present and the future work to keep the system functioning properly. We do recommend Cochran complete service.

I would strongly advise against using this company. Last April 2025, we had our A/C unit replaced by them for nearly $10,000—a hefty investment that I now question was even necessary, but that’s a separate issue. Despite having a brand-new system, by fall 2025, the unit was heating our home improperly. They came out and "fixed" it, but the problems didn’t end there. Fast forward to two weeks ago during the ice storm in Gwinnett—the coldest weekend of the winter so far—and we were left without heat downstairs. I called Cochran around Wednesday, knowing even colder weather and snow were forecasted for the weekend.
