Cochran Oil & Propane

Our house ran out of heating oil before this upcoming snowstorm - we called about 9 different oil companies, asking if they were able to do a delivery on short notice for a new customer. They all said they were booked out through Monday, which I totally get with the snowstorm. We called Cochran, and Vicky couldn’t have been more receptive or understanding - she said they would send someone out by the end of the next day, and by the time I got home, we had a full tank with a receipt on the door. Thank you, Cochran Oil, for your responsiveness in making sure we had heat and hot water through this storm! Couldn’t recommend more!

Excellent customer service! I called 8 AM and Cochrane had a delivery driver at my house within 2 1/2 hours. I will Continue to use Cochran Oil as I have been for years. This is how customer service should be. Thank you so much, Cochran Oil!!

We usually get our oil from this place, I just called like 5 minutes ago. Someone answered the call all rude, almost yelling and due to the “snow storm” they won’t be delivering until Tuesday, which is fine because it’s understandable. I said “I’ll call you back because I have to ask the person”, the lady hung up the phone without saying a word. RUDE! If you don’t like your job, simply don’t work there girl. You could have at least said ‘ok’. Work on your customer service skills, I never write reviews, for this to be my first means something!

Nice lady answered the phone. She asked to put me on hold bc she just walked into the office (understandable, no problem with that). Then another picked up and asked if I was holding for someone and I said I just wanted a price on oil. She gave me the prices and then I asked about delivery schedule and she provided an answer so then I said "thank you so much" and she literally hung up without saying anything. Sounded like she slammed the phone down too. Ridiculously rude and makes me not want to buy from them just for that. I get they were busy but you don't treat potential customers like that.

Cochran Oil continuously provides some of the WORST customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered… today’s episode was courtesy of ROBIN, who’s attitude came off as wretched and miserable from the moment she answered my call… I explained to her that I had just recently (literally a few days ago) sold my house to a family member and moved out of state for a job opportunity, but I had forgotten to call to update the billing and subsequently was just billed for auto-refill and was looking to update the method of payment. Before I could even explain to her that if they (Cochran Oil) weren’t able to refund the charge, it would not be a problem because I could work it out with the family member that I had sold the house to, she (ROBIN) let out a long, obnoxious moan and yelled “YOU SHOULD H
