Very disappointed with this company. My husband had ordered pavers for our back patio and wanted to order extra just in case some were chipped. The employee assured us we would not have any damaged pavers and there was no need to order extra. Upon the pavers arriving we found 5 or 6 pavers that had chipped and that cost us 2feet of width for our patio that we had to cut off because we could not use the pavers. Upon returning the pallets my husband called to drop off at 11 on Saturday and the employee said he would be there around 11-1130. My husband arrived around 11:15 and no one was around. The phone went to voicemail and he waited over an hour for someone to show up so he could drop off the pallets and damaged pavers for money back. Beautiful pavers but terrible customer service. Great small business. I purchased some soil for my raised garden beds, and the owner delivered the next morning, and was so pleasant and nice. The soil is excellent quality. Will absolutely be going here in the future for all garden/landscaping needs!!!

Called Colchester Stone and Landscape on a Monday for a topsoil delivery to fill a backyard sinkhole. I had a nice conversation with the woman who answered the phone and agreed to have 4 yards of soil delivered at 9 am on Tuesday. No one showed up so I called at 11 am on Tuesday and left a message on the recording to reschedule. I received no call back. I called again on Wednesday afternoon and left another message and did not receive a call back again. I have no idea what happened or why they did not want to sell me topsoil. Very poor customer service and communication. They responded that they were "Sorry to MISS me". They did not "Miss" me. They failed to show up. Also they did not receive my messages on their voicemail. It is not my problem that they (a) don't listen to it (

We purchased over $200 worth of “garden soil” which we were told was a perfect mix of top soil and compost. Instead it’s like concrete, full of small stones and hard as a rock making it difficult to even shovel. Our garden beds are like concrete. Owners told us we weren’t tilling it properly “it’s hard on top but nice underneath.” Told us we were SOL. Will never use this company again.

Great experience, will be returning yearly to set up my garden with mulch and topsoil/compost! Prices and quality can't be beat. Also considering a fire pit, and appreciate all the advice from Phil Sr on how to complete that project when I'm ready. Thank you!
