College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Norwalk

Travis, Q, and Ben did a wonderful job for me! They moved me from a 3-floor walkup to a storage locker. They were diligent workers. I was amazed at how quickly they handled 60+boxes...many of them heavy...and many pieces of furniture. I was very happy with how they strategically packed the locker so another did not have to be rented. Overall, a neat group of guys (uh...HUNKS) that were always respectful to my items and to me.

They treated my furniture like junk. I estimated my damage to be about $1,900. My furniture was thrown in their truck unwrapped and some items were even placed upside down in order to fit everything in their truck. I am attaching photos to show you some of my damage but be aware there was much more. Their claim department is no where to be found. I have initiated a small claim legal case and my next step is to notify the BBB. I hope this post will prevent others from using this horrific company. I would also like to mention that my contract stated the move would be completed on the same day. On the way to my destination they called me and said it was too late to finish the job. Consequently, I had to book a hotel room for the night. On the day of the move they did not arrive until 1

Horrible experience. Broke my expensive solid wood headboard, and had to go back to the apartment we moved from upon arriving to our new house because they left their backpacks and tools. They called me while I was driving back with their things asking me to drop it off to them half way without me even having seen that they moved everything in and didn’t damage anything else. Only offered $100.00 compensation for my expensive hand made solid wood headboard, and nothing for the inconvenience of the entire move. Repairing the headboard and the amount of time and stress made this more expensive than the move itself. Don’t use them. Movers don’t care, nor does management. Terrible.

The College Hunks were pros! They were on time, super efficient, and completed the move ahead of schedule. Lewin, D, and Nick were polite, helpful, and friendly. They wrapped my large flat screen tv expertly, handled everything with care, and placed all furniture pieces in the exact location where they needed to be. I highly recommend using this company and I give 5 stars for this team!

I cannot thank these guys enough! Not even two hours and my whole move is done. They came right on time, were incredibly friendly and professional. Great at communicating with each other. And they moved all of my items down 3 flights of stairs in a TIGHT apartment. Move was from Torrington to Torrington. Price listed below includes a 40% tip. THAT is how good these guys were.
