College Works Painting

Being a homeowner of a 25 year old home in Wilmington, NC, it was clearly time to get the house painted. Josh Hancock, the project manager, lead us through the process with the utmost professionalism. During the initial consultation, Josh patiently worked with me to customize the job to what we wanted to do and pay. After a couple of test paints, we found the color we wanted and the job was set into motion. Josh showed up with his team bright and early – ready to work. I was pleased that the team took time preparing the 25 year old siding. They worked so diligently that they were able to crank out the job in a single day! Working with Josh Hancock/College Works Painting in Wilmington was an amazingly easy experience. He was professional from the beginning consultation, through the work period and the final inspection. Work began on time and finished on date expected. Daily clean up was perfection, workers were polite and pleasant. Paint job was exceptional. Overall College Works did a great job. There were some communication lags at the beginning, and our job didn't start as quickly as had been promised, mostly due to the intern having a health issue, but once that was resolved things went very smoothly. The painters themselves did a terrific job with our house--working hard even during 100+ degree heat! Our house looks so much fresher and we are very pleased.

JoEllen and crew did a fantastic job on our house in Arden, NC. Our deck, patio, door and trim looks wonderful and the young professionals were prompt, courteous and hard working. In the past I have always used professional painting contractors, but two years ago decided to give one of the College Works Painting interns a try. It was the worst mistake. A job which should have taken one week dragged on all summer until mid-August because the intern was always late, disappeared for hours each day, and had a crew which changed by the day. Later when warranty work was required because an area of the house had not been properly prepped I had to contact the national headquarters to get a response. I was promised a 'professional' crew would do the warranty work. Instead another intern contacted me.
