We came home last week to a stuffy house and ended up needing a whole new ac unit. Collins Mechanical came out the same day we called. Tony was wonderful and explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. Jim came out for pricing and was super polite and professional. Tony and 2 others came out today to install our new unit, they were wonderful. Cleaned up after themselves, explained how to use the new thermostat and even wore booties inside so they didn’t track dirt in. This is the second time we’ve used Collins and we’ll be a customer from here on out. 10/10 recommend.

Had them install a heat pump and the service was very good. Had a couple of minor issues soon after, and they came out right away and fixed it. Also had a stove installed by them and some plumbing work done, both of which were done perfectly. They take time to answer any questions. I will continue to use their services and will recommend them to others.

I called Collins mechanical on 8/30/22, requesting our air filter be changed on our AC unit. Collins mechanical asked if they had permission to come out to my house on 9/2/22 to change the filter and asked if I would be home. I agreed to 9/2/22 and stated yes I would be home. They no showed and never came on 9/2/22. I called them on 9/6/22, questioning why they did not show. No excuse was given, nor apology but then they assured me they would send someone that day and again asked if I would be home. I agreed. Again, they no showed! At that point, I decided to move forward with a more reliable HVAC company. A week later I come home from work to a bill for $148.00 stuck in my screen door from Collins mechanical stating they came from 12:45pm to 1pm and changed the air filter. I did not autho

We have hired Collins for several jobs at our home in Dover. We have always been happy with the work performed and professionalism (polite, on time, reasonable prices). In emergency repair situations, they have always been out the next morning at the latest. I would definitely recommend them.
