Colonial Stone and Floor Care

Ray and Alex just finished a great terrazzo restoration job at my home. Colonial actually did my floors 15 years ago, and they still had notes and specs on my floor! This time they repolished the whole house and also ripped up old tile in the kitchen to restore the terrazzo there. It is still drying out but already looks way better than the old junk tile... Alex was amazing and helped with everything. Excellent communication and service; fair price.

Complete waste of $6,500. Floors look EXACTLY the same as they did before. VERY sketchy company on top of it. The guy Ray who represents this business (Colonial) also answers the phone for another floor company called "Marble Cleaning MIami," which I found via Google, too (which, conveniently right after they stole my money and did nothing to my floors, now shows on Google as "permanently closed." Apparently their shady sham operation got caught). Marble Cleaning Miami is the terrazzo crew run by someone named "Mr. Ramos" who I assume (but don't really even know for sure at this point) is the one that did the actual work at my house, and was sent to my house by Colonial / Ray. I would not recommend this place. I called and made an appointment for an estimate for my terrazzo floors. They never showed up. So after waiting 2hrs after the appointment time I called and went straight to there answering service. I left a message to please call me back and I still haven't hear anything and it's been 2 weeks now. Very Poor customer service.

I have been a Colonial customer since I moved to Florida in 2003. At the time I was told they were the best in terrazzo restoration and I can tell you they are. My floors were covered with ceramic tile, stick-on tile and carpet. They had their work cut out for them. The grout between the ceramic tiles had etched into the floor giving it a shadow of a checkerboard pattern and I was advised that over time those areas would dry out and go away. They did! Now 15 years later I was looking to have my floors cleaned up and sealed. I called Colonial and Ray and his team did a fantastic job in getting my floors to look like new again. The service was prompt, quick and everything was left in perfect order. The price was reasonable and I continue to be a happy customer! Tom Burger Wilton Manors

From start to finish, they were extremely professional and offered their best insight into my terrazzo floors. I will admit, I shopped around for different prices and ultimately chose colonial for their professionalism, price, history in the area and despite them not being the lowest price, I felt it was the right choice for us based on those factors. We talked all the way thru the project and they delivered an excellent result. I frequently engaged with them on how to properly care for my floors and they have always responded graciously to all my inquiries. Could not recommend them enough.
