I’m a designer who has collaborated with Chelsea and Daryl on multiple projects, and I would not work with them again. I first brought Chelsea into a Kitchen project last year. She spent hours with my clients finding alternatives for selections we had already made, and everything seemed fine until the clients were pressured to sign one of Daryl’s contracts before leaving for a family vacation. They felt uncomfortable and ultimately chose a different direction. After that, Daryl became aggressive over email, demanding a $10,000 “consultation fee” that was never discussed, agreed to, or included in any contract. The behavior was unprofessional and alarming.
