Community Deck

If you go to downtown Allentown. This place can be the best garage in the area! Lots of parking space + only $2 per hour !!! (First hour is only $1 and I think they have 15 minutes free parking)

The community deck is a several story parking garage with elevators. It also has EV hookups. They have monthly, daily and 3-hour parking. It is centrally located to downtown Allentown Aunt a block away from the pp&l sports center. The garage is relatively clean. Neighboring streets are also kept meticulously clean. Monthly parking. There is about $125 a month. Check with their website for current pricing.

Every time I go there the automated method of payment changes and creates a stressful time when trying to get out of the lot. The paper ticket you get - that’s thin like a cash register recipe - very often simply won’t go into the payment machine. Two times ago I was told by the attendant that I didn’t need to get a ticket. Just insert my credit card going in, and a camera would read my license plate when leaving and let me out. Last time not only did that not work but putting my card in at the gate when leaving didn’t work. A message came up saying my card was “unauthorized” I had to call the attendant who then insisted that I had to get a paper ticket. I pointed to the writing on the machine that says “use your credit card as a ticket” and said, “so what does that mean?” He apparently h

Park in this garage every day. It’s a nice garage but it is not wide enough for 2 way traffic. People drive up the middle super fast and look at you like you’re in the wrong when you try to turn down. Big trucks are always parked on the ends making it hard to see around them. No one is ever seen patrolling this garage. There is an office in the garage but no one is ever there to assist with all the gate issues. They have 3 lanes but lately the middle lane has been closed all together. I’ve been late to appointments because the gates won’t open and there are long lines to get out.
