We used the company for a plumbing inspection on a home under contract with 10 days due diligence. Inspection occurred on 2/9 and we were told we would have the DETAILED report by the next day, no problem. We received an invoice on 2/14 with a 3 sentence report. The plumber spent 30 minutes on property, charged us for 2 hours and the company didn’t send an itemized invoice to show us where the extra cost came from. When we called, the woman shut down our questions with “it’s industry practice, you pay for mileage from prior home to yours”. Fine, but there is no way customers should be responsible for an hour and a half driving when the office is 18 minutes from the residence. This is my first but not my last review, as I'm still waiting a call from the "manager" after speaking with someone else at Consolidated yesterday. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A "BAD" OR "POOR" REVIEW. DOING A POST REQUIRES STARS TO BE CHECKED. I SINCERELY HOPE TO BE ABLE TO GIVE THEM 5 STARS AS THEY WERE EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE WHEN I CALLED. MARTINE, WHO WORKS FOR THE MANAGER COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE CORDIAL AND POLITE. My call was and is to discuss the $357 bill I received for installing a Moen 1200 shower cartridge. They were here for less than 30 minutes. To make a long story short, I've installed these cartridges 3 or 4 times previously in our homes over time. I installed the latest cartridge. Used consolidated to install a hot water heater. The tech was very knowledgeable, explained to me everything he did and why he did it. Would highly recommend them
