Corliss & Son Mechanical

I contacted Home Depot for a water heater replacement. They referred me to Corliss & Son. They called me back after 6 hours, and quoted me: $630 for a new 40 gal water heater, and, get this, $2,375 for installation and removal of the old one!!! That's highway robbery at its finest! Even if they charge $200/hr, it doesn't take 12 hours to replace a water heater!! It should be $500 max. I told them forget it, I will do it myself.

This company was sub contracted by Home Depot for a service on my home. Home Depot had errors along the way due to new employee input error, but Valerie's competence ensured that the job was done promptly. The installers were also friendly and professional despite the high temperatures as they worked!

John and Val are always there when you need them most. Very professional, very honest. They take care of you start to finish. Highly recommend!!
