We hired Cost Effective Concrete to demo our old, non-compliant concrete steps and install new steps that meet code. The original steps had uneven rise and run, and Calvin and his team did an outstanding job adding an extra step so everything is uniform and safe. They also extended the project by installing a new sidewalk leading up to the front porch and seamlessly blended it into the existing footprint. Even though I didn’t end up having work done, I still wanted to leave a review because my experience was excellent. Calvin of Cost-Effective Concrete came out to my site multiple times and was extremely straightforward and honest with me the entire time. He didn’t try to sell me a dream or push services I didn’t need, he was just real about the situation and what made the most sense. The name Cost-Effective Concrete really reflects how he operates. He’s not trying to overcharge people or take advantage of customers. You can tell he genuinely wants to do right by the people he works with. On top of that, his customer service is easily a 10/10. He’s very personable, professional, and easy to talk to. It’s honestly refreshing because good, honest contractors can be hard to find.

Calvin was amazing throughout the whole process. Very polite and courteous. Worked with our budget and provided his expertise and knowledge when it came to the design. When it came time for the work to be done, his team was prompt and efficient. Calvin under promised but over delivered! He quoted us 3 days for completion but they were finished in 2. I am so happy I chose Cost Effective Concrete for my driveway replacement, the work was just completed. I had my existing asphalt driveway removed, along with the concrete skirt/apron, and also had a new sidewalk added. Calvin is amazing; he actually shows up for appointments when he said he would (from the initial estimate to planning when the job is ready), responds quickly with any questions, and is very friendly and knowledgeable. The crew was absolutely amazing—from the removal of the existing driveway, to setting the forms, and the installation. They were incredibly hardworking and delivered exceptional results.
