I called Cottrell Brothers to set up a time to get an estimate for a small job. Scheduling was done in a timely manner. Ross came out on 10/31 and said that I would have my proposal the latest on Monday. Fast forward, I don't hear anything on Monday nor receive an emailed proposal. By mid week I call and I finally was able to reach the office manager and explained that haven't received my estimate. It's been well over a week approaching two weeks since the initial estimate and I've called left messages to reach out to me and I haven't heard from anyone. When you call this business you never get anyone to pick up the phone it always goes to voice mail "hi you reached Kristi" Communication lacks here. Two different local contractors recommended Cottrell Brothers to me for gutter repair. Both my husband and I tried to call during the summer and only got one call back from the office manager, Kristi. Finally, in mid-Sept, we were able to connect with her and the owner Ross came out and gave us an estimate for gutter work, which we accepted. Trying to schedule the work was impossible, however. I put in probably 10 calls to Kristi's cell phone, the office phone, and even sent an email to the office. Crickets. Finally, two months later, I hired Barry Charbonneau & Son to do the job. Nick Charbonneau came out to do the estimate right away and the job was done professionally within two to three weeks. We were given options with fair prices for different construction materials. When we made our decision and provided the necessary deposit to begin, they responded quickly, completing our job in 3 days in a professional manner, paying attention to demolition/cleanup and finishing the details of the project properly.
