I communicated mostly with Jason, the measurer. He was responsive and patient with me. I was anxious about getting my countertops in as I had been without a kitchen for a hot minute and let Jason know I already had all the measurements from the cabinet install paperwork, hoping he would just cut the countertops and install them. Well THANKFULLY he didn't, because when the cabinet installer came, there was an issue and we had to end up adding 4 or so inches, if Jason hadn't patiently stated he would come out and measure the cabinets once they were all installed, and had gone off what the original paperwork said, I would have had the wrong countertop measurements and been out a lot of $$$. We purchased our kitchen countertops through Lowe’s in Knoxville who contracted the work out to Creative Surfaces. We have had nothing but issues with them over the entire process of having our countertops installed. On the day of installation they were confused as to what they were supposed to install and left our countertops in Chattanooga. This meant that they didn’t show up to our house until about 8PM. They had incorrectly measured the backsplash, but assured me they would return in the coming weeks to install them. After three weeks they finally contacted me and set a date to install the backsplash. The morning of the installation they cancelled because they had messed the backsplash up while correcting it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. We contracted to have granite countertops installed through Lowe's in West Knoxville and was extremely disappointed with the team and the quality of work. They measured the counters wrong, did not send the correct amount of backsplash, and did not send the correct dimensions of backsplash. The team took 2 days to install a small kitchen, asked me for a lighter so he could smoke outside our front door, left garbage all over our floors when they were finished, left without a word to me (so I could not ask any questions or see their finished work), and when I asked them to caulk over their mistakes, they claimed that they had no white caulk. HORRIBLE COMPANY!! We purchased our granite countertops through Lowe’s in August/September 2022. Creative services came out and started a job in September 2022. The first day of install they told me that they weren’t going to finish the job that day because they still had to go to Chattanooga to start a job. I spoke with Partha, the owner, on the phone and reminded him that my Lowes contract said the job was to be completed by a certain date. Partha told me “Oh we’ll. We have other jobs to do too. You’ll have to wait and we can come back out another day to finish up.” They had incorrectly cut one of the backsplash pieces it was supposed to come out a week later to install the final piece which was about 8 feet long. We received our beautiful quartz countertops from Creative Surfaces on Friday and absolutely LOVE them!! I couldn’t ask for a better experience from dealing with all their staff, ordering and delivery. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for beautiful countertops, good customer service, flawless installation and reasonable prices. Thanks again!!
