12-7-2025 Sunday. I had woke up only to smell like a burning smell. Was thinking the blower unit fan. Had shut down the unit. Had called Crowell who installed the unit when the house was built in 2007. Was kind of jonesen due to the cold temps coming. Brian had come out and had fixed the unit. Had gotten to know Brian over the years and is extremely knowledgeable and won't screw you over like most HVAC people. For all the negative reviews I just don't see it . I repair manufacturing equipment CNC'S and robotics completely different from HVAC. Kudos to Crowell

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We had Brian (owner) put in a new AC motor at the cost of $615. One month later the AC wasn't cooling. He didn't warranty his work, charged us another $246 to fix that issue. After $850 of work, 4 years later the motor he put in completely stopped working. He denied any warranty and quoted us another $1,000 plus for a motor install. Online info indicates motors should be under warranty for 5-10 years, but not with Crowell. We had another company provide a quote that was 75% of the cost and said Crowell should have a warranty for this relatively new motor or offer a discount. In addition, Brian was rude on the phone, raising the volume of his voice over ours, patronizing us and comparing the AC motor to spark plugs on a car, interrupting us repeatedly without listen

This is the company you want to do business with. Brian the owner is honest and straight forward. The prices are affordable and reasonable. The service is what makes these guys great. I called on a Monday morning and the owner, Brian, answered the phone. During the middle of this July 2024 heat wave with dew points at 75 and feels like at 95 Brian communicated with me and kept his word. His HVAC tech Xavier is a great efficient and professional young man. Keep up the great work. Call this company and support a great business in Meriden!

We called this company on Christmas Eve to help my grandfather with his furnace. We didn’t know what was wrong and they came out right away and helped fix his problem. Their rates were extremely reasonable and they were professional and kind. I can’t recommend this company enough!!! Thank you for being there and providing such amazing customer service!!!!

Called Crowell mid morning, explained my heating issue, Brian wrote down some info, drove to Hartford supply and was here within 2 hours with parts and heat is back on. This level of service is something that has become a thing of the past so I found my new HVAC guy. I will add that it was a breath of fresh air to get charged an extremely low price even though he expedited my request and could have charged a premium. Great Company
