Crown Plaza Hotel O' Hare Parking Lot

This parking lot was alright. I am a little concerned about the safety of it, as one morning as I came out to retrieve something from my vehicle as I was staying at the Crowne Plaza O'Hare, and there was a old dirty baseball cap lying underneath the back of my truck, which put me somewhat on edge. As I was trying to leave, I had my parking validated by the staff at the Crowne Plaza O'Hare, and when I put the ticket into the machine, it kept saying that I was supposed to pay $25 and I had to push the button for help a few times as there was no staff in the "guard house" at the exit.

Meh — not my favorite experience. The parking is in an uncovered, open lot, and I had to park in the rear and then figure out how to get to the front desk from the back entrance. The signage throughout the hotel is poor, and I got turned around trying to find my way back out. On the positive side, the staff were very kind when validating, bathrooms clean and the parking fee was the most affordable option in the area. Overall though, the setup feels sketchy — if you’re from Chicago, you’ll understand what I mean. 👀

Shuttle to airport was fine. Coming home we arrived at terminal 5. I tried calling for information but only heard recordings saying door 2. Neighboring hotels to Crown Plaza had shuttles come through 2-3 times the hour we waited. Crown Plaza said they don't go to terminal 5 because of construction. Had to call and uber.

Good place to park. Close to airport. Easy shuttle

Sooo since WHEN does a hotel charge you for having something important shipped to you? NEVER again will I stay here! This hotel isn’t the greatest on the inside to be charging anything like that
