Cultured Marble Products

I was referred to Cultured Marble Products by my kitchen and bath designer, PZG Interiors. She had used this company for numerous East Bay Area bathroom design projects. I visited the San Leandro showroom on Friday, March 7, 2025, and met with representative Mike Cobb, who was patient and thorough in answering all my questions and explained the process without any pressure. I visited the showroom a second time on Friday, March 14. Again, Mike was patient, thorough and knowledgeable, so I was confident I wanted to move forward with my bathroom shower project. Though this was a small project, timing was critical in order for me to keep my sanity as I have only one bathroom. I had tub / shower walls installed by CMP in November of 2023. When they installed the marble wall kit they damaged the bath tub curb with a grinder, I contacted Lesly when I saw it after the Installers left the job Lesly said they would have someone contact me to arrange to repair the damage. After 3 months I didn't hear from them so I called and Monica said they will not fix it and stated The disclosure in the contract says they are not responsible for damage they cause during installation. Very Disappointed after being a long term customer of over 30 years.

These clowns did an install for us at the end of last year. A couple months later the shower wall is bowing out. I've been going back and forth with Monica about them coming out to look at the shower and they will not come unless it benefits their schedule or should I say profit margin. Here we are in May and nothing has been done nor anyone has came out to look at the shower. They want us to work around their schedule. If you don't work around their schedule they will not call you at all. This company doesn't care about customer service. All they care is about their money. I do understand a business is ran to make money but when an install isn't done properly the right thing to do is to fix it regardless if it's out of the way or not!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! I’m giving Cultured Marble one star only because they did two shower enclosures and one bathroom countertop for us some years ago which turned out pretty well. I would give them no stars based on their customer service. I would not recommend them AT ALL. We called to get an estimate and they finally came out after one week. From beginning to end, it seemed like it was an inconvenience to them. The estimator was very impersonal And could not give us many details that we asked other than saying that someone ( I believe her name was Leslie, but there was somebody else that I spoke to as well ) would call us that same day or the next with the estimate.
