Custom Crafted Construction LLC

No personal experience with Custom Crafted but disappointed in this local construction company for a current project they are a part of on Snapp Road in Sevierville. They are building what looks like at least 12 identical looking homes on a less than 5 acre lot, nothing custom about the homes. Sad to see that land become what will soon be a subdivision with identical condos/homes crammed together with no green living space for the homeowners - directly across from farm land in an established community. So sad to see this happening and disappointing that a local company would be a part of a project like this on this small road which is already too crowded. Ugh.

We built two homes in 2023 with CCC. I live two states away from the property. Yet, we got these homes done under a year. There is nothing easy about building a cabin. There will always be issues, The key is having a builder that hears the concern and takes action. David Henry is a class act—Always offering ideas to improve function or save money. Highly recommend, if you’re looking for a quick turn around at a reasonable cost.

This is our 3rd build with this company. We run and self manage a vacation rental business. Guest love the homes and give us great reviews all the time. The design and locations have been great. Owning and running a business, things never work out perfect, even brand new homes have things that can go wrong. What I can tell you is that Mike Johnson the foreman at our community has helped us so much. He has been on top of things right away., We closed on our last home Dec 2022 and so far so good, they have been fixing any issues we’ve had.

I can’t warn you enough to stay away from doing business with this company. We bought a new build cabin from them and have had nothing but issue after issue in just the first 3 months! Talking with other owners and workmen in the area we hear the same thing over and over. I just wish we had been warned before buying one of their homes so I hope to save someone else the incredible amount of stress and expense we have dealt with over this.

Closed on new home in June now October still trying to get items fixed. No action very little response. We're talking small things like dent on front door, chip in tub, switch not working, spill on driveway, big pile of concrete in backyard all left or done by contractors. There's more but you get the picture Warning! Warning! Stay away from these people look for better contractor. Well almost December no work scheduled not even a response to a bad review.
