Props and kudos to the crew at Custom Garages of Virginia! Robert Summy was great at facilitating everything from start to finish and those on his crew - such as Loren & Brandon - were competent, efficient and polite. Robert made sure that everything was in order before the first shovel of dirt was turned. My wife and I did not realize how many details we needed to iron out - but he was quite good at helping us make the right decisions. We LOVE our new detached garage. Highly recommend these folks. They're not the cheapest, but you won't ever see them cut corners. Besides, if you have a decent house, you need a well-built garage for it that doesn't look out of place. We recently used Custom Garages of Virginia for a three-level custom detached garage, approximately 3500 Sq Ft. I am the GC for this build. I would highly recommend considering them for your garage needs. Having built a custom home, and boathouse on our property we have some experience working with contractors, sub-contractors, etc. and feel confident recommending them. Robert and Brandon were very good to work with for our 30x60 garage. They handled all the county permits and requirements for drawings and inspections. The carpentry team was excellent. Amazingly they constructed the garage on the foundation in two very long days. The material choices were very good matches to the existing structures for siding, doors and windows. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and attention was paid to every detail. Would gladly use Custom Garages for any future efforts.
