Custom Grey Concrete LLC

Carlos and his team at Custom Grey Concrete have now done two patio's for me, one at my old house and now my new back patio at my current house. We called in late March to get a quote and Carlos was prompt in scheduling a consultation. He quoted us a great price and again, like the first time, made sure to check in with us as the project was underway, especially since we kept changing some of the plans. This included moving sprinkler lines, pulling out fica bushes, and fixing our crack in our front patio. In the end both times they did an awesome job and we are very pleased with the work the Custom Grey team did.

Carlos and his team took out a part of our back concrete patio that was sinking and poured a new section of the patio. They put rebar in the new part, there was none in the old part. It looks great. They did the whole in one morning and cleaned up afterwards. Now our patio looks level again.

If you can micromanage well, Carlos will get 80% of the job done, but leave you with 20%. If you have no idea what you're doing expect a 50% job... There is no warranty no matter how much he sells you on it. You might be lucky if he comes back to pressure wash but that's the best to expect for a follow-up visit. He runs a one-man army show, hires a third party crew for the bulk of the work. You'll have to manage his crew tight.

Update: When I first posted this review, I immediate got an email from Maria. I responded to her asking when they can come out and fix the concrete. She never responded back. I filed a complaint with BBB. I understand that this is out of warranty, however, the patio started to disintegrate within the warranty timeframe. Carlos knew the patio had not been properly sealed. Unfortunately for me, I was unaware of what was happening, so I accepted Carlo's "fix" which was mixing up some concrete and patching the chips and cracks (which did not fix ANYTHING). Carlos knew what was wrong and he did not do what was necessary while the patio was under warranty. Now the warranty has expired and Carlos says it not his responsibility. **************************************** I used Custom Grey

Carlos and his team worked wonders on our back patio, steps, and side walkway after we originally hired a different contractor who ran off with half of our money without completing the job. Carlos was very accommodating and worked with us especially after hearing about our situation. His crew had to completely start from the beginning as the original contractor measured the leveling of the dirt incorrectly and used very cheap form work material and installed it very poorly. Carlos' customer service was excellent as he fit us in around his busy schedule and completed the job literally in less than 24 hours with professional craftsmanship. His crew came out late in the afternoon to redo the leveling and form work, and the next morning when I left for work at 6:30 AM, they were all ready
