My experience with Custom Pool Bros was extremely disappointing and stressful. Their pricing appears low upfront, but once you sign, they hit you with constant change orders that dramatically increase the final cost. Here’s how their process works: At the beginning, you deal with a salesperson who is very sweet, agreeable, and promises everything. Once you agree, they send you a 5–6 page contract that is poorly written and very hard to understand. After signing and paying a large deposit, you are handed off to accounting—who seems to have no idea what the salesperson promised. That’s when the problems begin. They start issuing change orders for items that should have been anticipated: Claiming the grade is higher than shown on plans, resulting in a change order of thousands of dollars
