Custom Renovations built us a beautiful sun porch and deck. Chris was easy to work with and helped us make decisions every step of the way. His staff are very skilled at what they do and paid very close attention to every detail. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone in the area.

We feel lucky to have found Chris Nipper as our contractor on a project that was both repair of a water leak and a remodel. The quality of the work is excellent. His guys are so talented, very capable, neat and hard working. Chris’s subs are exceptional in their particular specialties. Chris stayed in touch throughout the process and always returned my calls/text and patiently answered my questions. We are more than pleased with the work and the finished product.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Chris Nipper and his team on an extensive remodel of our home in Cary. The project was a full remodel of our 1st floor and partial remodel of the 2nd floor. On the first floor we removed walls (to open the space), and new flooring, drywall, crown modeling, baseboard model, new kitchen cabinets/counter tops, and new paint. Chris is a great communicator that was very focused on our needs and responded quickly to answer any questions and address any concerns. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of work.

10 years ago we entrusted a home office renovation to Chris and his crew and we were so pleased with the design insights, craftsmanship, competitive pricing, responsive communication, and attention to detail that we have been repeat customers ever since. Before too long we are going to end up living in the house the Chris (re)built.

Custom Renovatons built a wooden deck to solve a problem of water pooling, so the apparently untreated wooden supports they used rotted, as did the boards used to build the deck itself. It turns out the deck iis illegal in the part of Raleigh I live in, which a qualified contractor would have known. They built another structure at the same time, but all the materials used were shoddy, the work was way overpriced, and the construction workers changed all the time so I assume they were not well-paid . Beware of using this self-styled contractor..
