D-G Custom Chrome

I called Al at DG Custom Chrome and explained a job I was trying to get done (~1960 Snap-On tool chest restoration). He talked me through all the materials and chroming process and was really frank with me about pricing and timelines. He also referred me to some other craftsmen in the area who could help with other parts of the restoration. Al is an old-school honest fella who his generous with his time and has a lot of contacts in the area. Give him a call and you won't be disappointed.

Al is a very nice & professional businessman. He is straightforward on what goes into the restoration and plating process. After chit chatting for a bit; I left knowing my parts were in good hands and that I had nothing to worry about. I have more work to bring them in the future for plating and polishing. I’d highly recommend taking anything there to be chrome plated or polished as it will turn out as good if not extremely better than new.

They chromed the parts for my 1949 mercury bicycle that was so potted but they look better than new they do great work
