D & H Roofing Inc

We had our home built in Kyle in 2022 by DR Horton (Southgrove community) and they used D&H Roofing as their subcontractor for all the roof installations here. We recently had high winds come through and had a lot of damage to our roof, and many other homes in the area. Since this house is just over 2 years old, the warranty is expired so we just have to handle it ourselves. These types of shingles should withstand winds to at least 60 mph, which is sad to say. Not sure how they are still passing county inspections with this garbage product. A quality contractor should not even offer these as it only creates issues for the homeowner, well ahead of the product's supposed lifespan. Camaron James at D&H is very friendly and fixed the roof after severe storm next day with zero cost that was build by DR Horton in Austin colony. The same area shingles were blown off last year due to severe storm so D&H roofers replaced and fixed. Suggesting to fix it right at the first time otherwise their service is great and even installers are very friendly. Keep up the good work.

I purchased a DR Horton home in 2020 and D&H Roofing installed the shingles. Since then, we have had our shingles fly off with any gust of wind. This is not a D&H Roofing issue! This is an issue with faulty, cheap shingles that DR Horton chose for our house. In fact, D&H tried to walk me through submitting a claim to the shingle company to get replacement shingles. I am in the middle of this process. I have had an amazing experience with this company. They are all so helpful and prompt to fix my shingles. D&H Roofing installed the roof of my house back in December of 2021 as part of a contract for DR Horton. within a few months in 2022 the shingles were blown off by the wind during a rain storm and caused water damage inside my home. D&H Came out to fix the shingles and assured the issue would not happen again, well it did happen 2 more times. This last time it happened they said it was out of their warranty period and I would have to contact the shingle manufacture, unfortunately this is for most of the homes in our sub division that had their roof installed by D&H Roofing. Neighboring communities that were not done by D&H Roofing did not suffer anywhere near close to the percentage of damaged homes our community in Kyle did. Home roughly 3-3.5 years old. Shingles blew off. Read the other reviews from even years back. Not a new issue. Ongoing issue with this company properly installing. Was directed to the manufacture for shingle warranty claim as they D&H said they wouldnt be liable. DR Horton home, would recommend to stay far away from.
