Rich is amazing. He installed a new central air conditioner and furnace for me after my AC died this past summer. I almost had one of the big local companies do it which I had a service contract with but they were a little shady with their sales practices and when I needed to make some changes to what I wanted and they became unresponsive. Thank God I found Rich through a friend of my mom's. Rich was responsive, honest and fair. He answered all my questions and was flexible with my crazy work schedule. He did a fantastic job with the install. His work was neat, professional and he even went above and beyond to help with some issues I had with my condensate drain pipe. I highly recommend Rich. He replaced an old furnace in my mother's home. Another company had put in a system that was not the correct size for her home and had issues heating the home when its very cold. Rich spent the time to get the right sized unit for her home. He did an outstanding job installing the new system.

Rich is the best. In our home office, we kept losing the air conditioning on extremely hot days. Before Rich, we had another guy come out - he told us we had a leak and filled it with freon - it kept freezing. Rich came through and cleaned out the condenser outside. He found that it was overcharged (the first guy was wrong) and relieved the pressure. Since we bought this house five years ago, it's been working the best it's ever had. Rich is honest and friendly. This past year Rich from D&R replaced our furnace and ac units in one of the zones in our house. The work he did was outstanding. When the inspector came out, he even commented on how well the work was done. There were no surprises with the cost. Rich was very transparent regarding the costs and options. During the process, Rich was very respectful of our property. Rich answered phone calls and responded to texts in a timely manner. I have no hesitation recommending Rich and D&R Heating & Air Conditioning.

Rich is the best contractor I’ve hired as long as I’ve lived in Freehold. He’s patient, prompt, and cleans up after himself when the day is done. He installed a furnace and ac unit for us at a fair price. Competitive with larger company’s in the area and IMO better equipment (American Standard). He runs tests and does a load calculation to verify the right size units required for the home. He runs more tests after the equipment is installed to make sure everything is working properly before the job is complete. Great communication throughout the whole process and was patient in answering all questions we had. He Filled out and submitted all rebate and warranty paperwork. He is even coming out again when the weather gets warmer to retest the ac. IMO It’s nice to have the actual owner doing
