Dabney Garage Doors

This place is a scamming type business.. They have this little old lady answering the phone, that plays here part well . I called them and told them what was going on with my door.. She went on to tell me that it was 109.00 for a service call plus whatever part you need.. Now mind you I have replaced this part myself a few times, but the only supplier that I know is through Amazon the part cost about nine dollars takes a couple of days to get it so with me thinking about my wife getting off of work and not being able to get in the garage. I agree to go ahead and let them come out thinking maybe a I would pay for the 109+ whatever they want for the part only to learn when the technician get there they don’t sell parts. Saw the ad and had to check it out. After a quick over-the-phone diagnoses, they scheduled an appointment with me the very next day. Crew took little time installing, and I should’ve paid extra for their humor. Will call again.

I am disturbed from the reviews I see here! James Dabney has a solid company. And as a person there or no finer a person! You people want and want and want . The second it's not your way you go Karen on people. Take the time to trust people 95% of them are trustworthy. Also nothing in life is free. Excellent service from Dabney. Called to have the door opener replaced and check on the torsion bar. They were here the next day and the technicians were very communicative letting me know they were on the way and when they were done with the job.

I purchased my garage door opener in November 2023 ( approximately 7months ago) The opener came and loose from the door. When I call, they told me the owner would call me back. Mr. Dabney called me back. He was very rude and would not honor the warranty. He tried selling me extra stuff I didn’t need. I would never use this company again. I highly recommend using Overhead Door here in Beaumont Tx they came out and was very professional and knowledgeable.
