Dan The Duct Man

We hired Dan the Duct Man to inspect our townhome in North Charleston. He never showed up. When we asked him why not, he explained that he wanted payment in advance. We said we were happy to pay, but we needed an invoice, bill or some type of paperwork. We also asked Dan how he would inspect the ducting (i.e. with a camera, or visually, or something else). He immediately said he no longer wanted the job if it required any paperwork or explanation of his methods. We thought this was odd, and explained why having an invoice was important for tax reasons. I don't know if this is a real business, or a scam, or just a peculiar way to leave no paper trail, but we were not comfortable with his approach to business and thus can not recommend this firm.

I love Dan The Duct Man!!!!! He is the only part on my build that was right so far!!! He called and excellent communication. He showed up on time and when he said he would. He is the only person that has done that so far. He did exactly what he said . Thank you Dan!!!! If your not using him your crazy!

He seemed like a great person, and I wanted so badly to give him a great review; however, he failed to connect all the ducts. When I protested, then he said that he had inspected them, and that they were connected. When I insisted that he return and check the duct in question, then he stated that they were not all connected, and that it was the fault of the people he hired. He then left trash for me to pickup and he said that he would send someone over to replace the cover between the unit and the house. The cover has is poorly installed. I asked him to fix it, but he said he was out of town; that was a few weeks ago. Wish the work was as great as his personality,. UPDATE: Only a few years, and the main section has split, and everything has to be redone. Guess I need to find a good duct

Dan the Duct Man and his team are Awesome! They worked with me on the schedule and worked to meet my expectations! I would recommend them to anyone that needs HVAC duct work! Way to Go! And thanks for taking care of me and the family!

Absolutely awesome! They were prompt, professional, neat, and very attentive. Communication was clear and he did exactly as promised. I would highly recommend Dan the Duct Man. Great quality of work.
