I have been a customer for over a year. I kept the service going continuously through the winter months. At first the results were good and the weeds started to disappear. Then as I became an old customer the quality of service declined. I have sedge and other weeds that are prominent in my front yard. I called to ask about addressing this and spoke to a customer service rep that admitted he did not know about treatment methods or plans so I requested a follow up call from someone who was knowledgeable.... over a week and no call... Im not in the habit of chasing down people who don't want my money. Called to cancel my service. That was the easiest part of our interaction. Predatory in the way they handle their business. I paid for a full year. I did not leave a card on file and told the sales lady at the beginning of 2025 I only wanted service for 2025. I had done the same thing two years prior. They come out to my house unbeknownst to me, and treat in 2026 and tell me I owe them money for it. Then the condescending sales manager says he will be turning me over to collections. Way to treat a customer that just wants services every other year. That’s okay, I’ll go somewhere else. They were good initially but over time I have seen their services decline. My lawn inspite of being in contract with them had abundance of weeds . I requested them to come out and respray but even then didn't get any significant results. I sprayed the same weeds on my own using store bought weednfeed and those weeds died . What is point on getting professional service when basic spot weeding doesn't work . I have cancelled the contract and will try to manage on my own.

I have been a loyal customer with Davenport for nearly five years, and I’m writing this review to express my disappointment with a recent experience that led me to cancel my account. Earlier today, I called to address a charge for services that were performed after I had called that morning to reschedule them. During the call, the representative (a female employee) claimed that my call occurred at 10:41 a.m. and that the services were performed at 9:41 a.m. I corrected her, explaining that I had actually called at 8:41 a.m. She then changed her statement and said the services were performed at 7:41 a.m. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it. Right now, I only have pest control with Davenport because Till is awesome. I turn down every other pest control company that stops by my house, because of him. It's why I stick with Davenport and will likely increase to other pest services Davenport offers. Their lawn care service is hit or miss.
