Not an honest company and their work ethic is hit or miss! This company cleaned my chimney and I was originally very impressed. Big mistake! Matthew gave me a talk about how important honesty is to him. I gave them a $500 deposit for a pellet stove instillation. They miscalculate the need for carpentry work needed on the mantle in order for the home inspector to sign off on the work. An honest mistake. In early December 2018, Matthew told me that he had a neighbor who could do the carpentry work and that Matthew would call me the following week to schedule. He did not call when he said and he has not returned my calls- one of which was to cancel and request a refund of my deposit. It is March 2019 and I have not heard back nor received my deposit back. I used Dave's Chimney service for a chimney cleaning today. The service was great. They showed up on time. They cleaned both of my flues at a great rate. They were in and out in a timely manner. Definitely recommend there service.

It’s scientifically proven that the people that Have a good experience as I have are much less likely to write a review but all the people Who are in their own way “DISAPPOINTED “ because they don’t understand what it takes to run a small family run HONEST!!! Business cry about the slightest inconvenience and as they probably have and my grandpa used to say I do nt need your Business take it somewhere else. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL with a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. They FAILED to show up 2 TIMES over the course of 2 WEEKS with a conflicting story of why they couldn't make it. 1st bogus excuse was a call that I received a couple hours late for their 1st scheduled appearance about how the chimney liner didn't come in. When I called back to talk to them it was a different story about how their van broke down. I asked them I thought it was because the part liner didn't come in, the guy who I believe is dave's son, back pedaled with "Oh ya, well that too." The 2nd time they are scheduled to arrive I get a call from dave 10 minutes late saying "we just opened the box and the company sent us the wrong part. Wait wait wait.
