David Ricard Masonry LLC

I used David Ricard Masonry in November 2025 to repair the granite wall in front of my house on Capitol Hill. It was smooth sailing, start to finish. David stopped by one day and inspected the wall, then gave me a very reasonable price to repair the worn toothpaste joints and replace missing/damaged stones. His two-man crew showed up right on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up afterward. I have attached before and after photos. I highly recommend Ricard Masonry and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Dave, his brother Jonathan, and crew did incredible work on our DC row house, including 1) demo-ing the deteriorating cement in our backyard, pouring new cement, and putting flagstone on top, 2) redoing our back stairs, 3) repointing the front of our house, and 4) demo-ing our incredibly uneven front stairs and redoing them. They worked hard, were detail-oriented, and went above and beyond to address issues outside of the scope of work as they found them. All for a reasonable price. Can't give these guys enough accolades.

I couldn't recommend David, his brother, and team any higher. On a Monday night, we experience water damage in our old DC, brick rowhome. After peeling back some plaster, we noticed a sizeable internal crack in the brick, and also saw step cracking in the area on the exterior. We were freaked out, and unsure what to do given the likelihood of more rain. We called several other companies that offered to come over the next 2 weeks.... David was able to show up in an hour. He quickly diagnosed what was going on, was extremely friendly and kind, and most importantly he was honest and transparent. In just 3 days, David got us on the schedule. Called after seeing his website about getting two sides of our townhouse tucked pointed. Was easy to work with setting up the date for a two day job. Very happy with the work his team did as it turns out we had more areas that needed repair than I thought. Came on time, cleaned up in between work days and left area clean after finishing. Will gladly use David and his team again if we have other brick work to do.
