I hired David & Son to install a new brick patio in my backyard. David was very eager to take on the project and assured me he had the expertise to complete it correctly. I asked him to purchase all the necessary materials to ensure the job was done properly. While the layout of the bricks was subpar, I was initially satisfied enough. However, after just a few days later, more than half of the bricks began lifting, revealing that they were not properly installed with cement—or anything at all beneath them. I contacted David to address the issue, and he initially agreed to come out. On the scheduled day, I tried calling him, only to discover that he had blocked me. David did a great job with our brick walk, tree pruning, and scrub bush clean up. His estimate was in a couple hours after he looked at the job; he said a date and time that he would show up and do the job, and he did exactly that. I was really impressed, and kind of wish I had some other stuff for him to do.
