I bought my house in December, and the roof—only about two years old—was supposedly still under warranty. The house had been unoccupied before I moved in, and not long after settling in, I discovered a roof leak. I reached out to the original roofer, who initially said he’d come take a look. That never happened. Since then, he’s ignored every follow-up message and never showed up to inspect the problem. It’s really disappointing and frustrating to deal with this kind of unprofessionalism, especially when the work is still under warranty. A roof shouldn’t start leaking after two years, and a contractor shouldn’t vanish when a customer needs help.
